Our floor sanding and finishing services are provided subject to the terms agreed upon at the time of booking. All quotations provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. Any additional work requested outside the original quotation will be subject to additional charges. Changes to the scope of work may also affect the final cost.
A deposit may be required to confirm your booking. Once a deposit is received, your booking will be secured for the scheduled date. Deposits are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee. Timber Floor Sanding Melbourne reserves the right to reschedule works due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or equipment issues.
Clients are responsible for ensuring the worksite is clear, accessible, and ready for the scheduled works. All furniture, fixtures, and personal belongings must be removed prior to the commencement of sanding and finishing. We will not be held responsible for damage to items left on site.
Full payment is required upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major forms of payment including bank transfers and credit cards. Failure to make payment may result in late fees or legal action to recover outstanding amounts.
We provide workmanship warranties in accordance with Australian standards. Our warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damage caused by misuse, poor maintenance, environmental conditions, or general wear and tear. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Timber Floor Sanding Melbourne is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If services are not supplied with due care and skill, you may be entitled to a remedy under the law.
We comply with all relevant occupational health and safety regulations in Melbourne. Clients must ensure the premises are safe and free of hazards. Access to the site during the sanding and finishing process may be restricted for safety reasons.
We aim to use environmentally responsible products and methods. Clients will be informed of any necessary ventilation requirements or temporary restrictions on floor use during and after the completion of the work.
